This is a 9-days/8 nights educational dance study group trip to Havana, Cuba. It is geared towards visitors keen on learning about Cuban culture and provides a broad overview of Cuba while offering support to the Cuban people. This trip will feature cultural and educational activities with the intent to help support and learn from the Cuban people.

Group transportation to airports and scheduled activities, lodging for 8 nights in the heart of old Havana in a beautiful colonial-style Casa Particular (B&B). Rooms are double occupancy with a private bathroom. Breakfast is included.

We will be supporting, interacting, and learning from local artists. Visits to the market of arts and paintings crafted by local Cuban artists and music and dance exhibitions performed by local Cubans.

Visit historical sites of Havana City, including Hotel Nacional and “El Malecon” (Havana’s famous sea wall).

Viñales and Varadero

1-Day Roundtrip to visit Varadero Beach (a 2-hour drive from Havana) to take a Rumba class with Cuban instructors. We’ll also make a quick stop in the town of Matanzas on our way to Varadero to support a family paladar.

1-Day Roundtrip to Viñales (2-hour drive from Havana). We will visit an organic tobacco farm to learn the tobacco process while supporting local farmers and their family paladares (restaurants).

Ritmo Cuba

We will attend the International Cuban Dance Festival in Havana, Also known as Ritmo Cuba. This is a unique international reunion where dancers, students, teachers, and choreographers from around the world come to share a love of Latin dance in Havana, Cuba – the birthplace of Son. It boasts more than 60 of the best salsa teachers from across Cuba and the world – including the principal dance instructors from each of the major salsa schools in Havana.

Over 6 days, it offers more than 60 Hours of classes, with 3 separate halls operating at any given time so that students can select their preferred style and level. Workshops included: Salsa, Casino, Rueda de Casino, Reggaeton, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Hip Hop, Kizomba, Rumba, or Folklorico, and then join us at night as we take the party to the hottest salsa clubs in Cuba. This year, it will be held at the National Hotel, one of the 5-star hotels located in the central area of Vedado, overlooking the spectacular Malecon.​
