Havana, Varaderos & Viñales, Cuba

This is an educational dance study group trip to Havana and Vinales, Cuba. It is geared towards visitors keen on learning about Cuban culture and provides a broad overview of Cuba while offering support to the Cuban people. This trip will feature cultural and educational activities with the intent to help support and learn from the Cuban people.

Program Includes

  • 2 experienced hosts, Robert & Laura Cristina, who will guide you before and during the trip.

Lodging and Transportation

  • Group transportation to airports and to scheduled activities, lodging in the heart of old Havana in a beautiful colonial-style Casa Particular (B&B). Rooms are double occupancy and include breakfast.


  • Guided walking tour in Old Havana. We will be supporting, interacting and learning from local artists/musicians/dance instructors.

  • Visit a market of arts and paintings, visit and interview Cuban artists and watch music and dance performances. 

  • Welcome dinner and "Buena Vista" style show with legends of traditional Cuban music.

Dance Classes

  • We will learn from local and world-renowned instructors as we take dance lessons during one of the biggest salsa festivals in Havana. Classes available: Linear Salsa, Bachata, Casino (Cuban salsa), Rueda de Casino, Son, Cha Cha Cha, Afrocubano, Rumba, Reggaetón, Kizomba or Tango.


Ritmo Cuba Festival - Dance Workshops and Concerts 

  • We will have Cuban dance instructors teaching us in daytime and dancing with us at night to practice what we learned. Dance shows/performances.

Varadero and Viñales

  • 1-Day Roundtrip to visit Varadero Beach (a 2-hour drive from Havana) to take a Rumba class with Cuban instructors. We’ll also make a quick stop in the town of Matanzas on our way to Varadero to support a family paladar.

  • ​1-Day roundtrip to visit Viñales, a small town located in the gorgeous green valley and National Park in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. We will spend a day supporting local artists and villagers. Visit a tobacco plantation to learn about the growth cycle of tobacco while supporting local farmers and the family's paladar.

Program Exclusions

  • Breakfast on travel days, Lunch and Dinner Meals are excluded. 

  • Airfare is excluded. You are responsible to book your flights. 

  • Medical Insurance and Travel Insurance are not included in the program.

  • Any transportation outside of our program’s group activities will be at your expense.
